Toe puff stiffeners are a thermoplastic material which is inserted (using heat) between the lining and the upper of the shoes. They help maintain the shoes shape and support the foot.
You may have noticed that these toe puffs are a different colour from our previous stock...and thats because they now contain renewable raw materials - wood sawdust to be specific! You'll probably smell this whilst you are heating them up during the moulding process 🙂
If you accidentally mess up the moulding process these toe puffs are 100% recyclable.
