We have three reinforcement options for interfacing Bags / Small leather goods. 🌟

LEFAPEL 0.3mm

A leatherboard perfect for support in bags and small leather goods. This is a little thinner than our other reinforcements and we would use it to add a slight structure to a soft or thin leather. 

SIZE = 30cm x  50cm

CELLSAN 0.5mm

Cellulosic reinforcement material used as a structural support for bags. It can be used to create rigidity and stiffness for example in the base of a bag. 

SIZE = 37cm x 50cm 

GIAPONNESE 2mm 

Foam material with adhesive backing, used in combination with lining fabrics and for the internal lining in leather goods. Extremely soft, light and flexible. 

SIZE = 37cm x 50cm

What can I make with this?

You can make beautifully structured, professional-looking bags and small leather goods! Use these specialist reinforcement materials between your outer material and lining to give your bag structure, support and shape without adding unnecessary bulk.

Please note:

There are three reinforcement options available: LEFAPEL 0.3mm, CELLSAN 0.5mm and GIAPONNESE 2mm. Each has a different thickness and application, from lightweight reinforcement to a soft, flexible foam-backed option. The GIAPONNESE 2mm has an adhesive backing and is particularly useful with lining fabrics and for internal lining in leather goods. Packs and sheet sizes vary by material.
